Stomp on Jesus

“Stomp on Jesus” is what the students were told to do, says one student from Florida Atlantic University.
You have got to be kidding me.
One student, Ryan Rotela, says it happened like this; the students were told to write “Jesus” on a piece of paper, put it on the floor and stomp on it.   Rotela, a junior in the class refused to participate and says he was suspended from the class for his refusal.

According to Florida Atlantic University, the exercise was from the textbook, “Intercultural Communication: A Contextual Approach, 5th Edition.”

However it seems that Fox News obtained a copy of the lesson plan which is different (shock, shock) than what was presented in the class.
The lesson plan obtained by Fox News says something more along the lines of;  “Have the students write the name JESUS in big letters on a piece of paper Ask  the students to stand up and put the paper on the floor in front of them with  the name facing up. Ask the students to think about it for a moment. After a  brief period of silence instruct them to step on the paper. Most will hesitate.  Ask why they can’t step on the paper. Discuss the importance of symbols in  culture.”  (quote from website sourced for this post.  Read the complete story here:
This, my friends is what tolerance has gotten us in this world.  Who is sick and tired of being tolerant to these absolute intolerant liberals?  I for one, and I’m sure you are too.
So tired of tolerance teaching by the intolerant.
